Learn AI Challenge

The Microsoft Learn AI Skills Challenge is a month-long challenge that will help you gain skills in using Azure to develop AI products. I have joined late – it ends on the 19th April. The topics include:

  • Microsoft Fabric – Analytics/data related training
  • Azure OpenAI – how to build Azure AI solutions and generative AI apps. This is the challenge I have chosen as it includes learning how to use AI Search and Copilot Studio.
  • Azure Machine Learning – Hoping I have time to take part in this challenge as it covers the building blocks of Azure Machine Learning.
  • Azure AI Fundamentals – A deeper looking into Azure AI technology.

There are a total of 27 modules in the Azure OpenAI challenge and I am working on completing at least three a day, possibly four, to avoid overwhelm I won’t learn more than four in one day.

Today I covered:

Get Started with Azure OpenAI Service
Build natural language solutions with Azure OpenAI Service
Apply prompt engineering with Azure OpenAI Service

The other modules that I have to cover are:

Generate code with Azure OpenAI Service
Generate images with Azure OpenAI Service
Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) with Azure OpenAI Service
Fundamentals of Responsible Generative AI
Create an Azure AI Search solution
Create a custom skill for Azure AI Search
Create a knowledge store with Azure AI Search
Enrich your data with Azure AI Language
Implement advanced search features in Azure AI Search
Build an Azure Machine Learning custom skill for Azure AI Search
Search data outside the Azure platform in Azure AI Search using Azure Data Factory
Maintain an Azure AI Search solution
Perform search re-ranking with semantic ranking in Azure AI Search
Perform vector search and retrieval in Azure AI Search
Plan an Azure AI Document Intelligence solution
Use prebuilt Form Recognizer models
Extract data from forms with Azure Document Intelligence
Create a composed Form Recognizer model
Build a Form Recognizer custom skill for Azure Cognitive Search
Get started with Microsoft Copilot Studio
Manage topics in Microsoft Copilot Studio
Work with entities and variables in Microsoft Copilot Studio
Enhance Microsoft Copilot Studio bots
Build effective Copilots with Microsoft Copilot Studio

There is a lot to learn and I won’t be doing them in order. I am eager to learn about copilot so over the next couple of days I will work on the final 5 modules.
